Dark Arps is a producer, composer, engineer, programmer and live electronic music performer, otherwise known as Live PA. He programs synths, designs sounds, and slams down driving basslines with banging beats. This handle is new, but he's been at it, in one way or another, for 15 years.

Dark Arps digs deep. He's subtly blunt. Darkly optimistic. Angrily happy. Cynically naive. Dark Arps pauses to reflect through movements and progression. He crafts beginnings, middles and ends. Journeys. Peaks and troughs of light and darkness. Intensity and respite. Screams and whispers. Through all this he creates dynamics of audible energy with the colours and shades of his music, punctuated with irresistibly danceable techno and breakbeat grooves.

Dark Arps feels strongly. And he wants you to feel strongly too. He believes in the power of moments, those animated .gifs of memory. A sentence in the story of your life, looped, fine details blurred but vibe and atmosphere hyped. He lives for the powerful memory associations we create between people, place and music. And he hopes you know wtf he's talking about, because that's what he's trying to create.
