Moonshine Express

Vancouver

In one clear night in the summer of 2009, a band of gypsies and musicians met upon the southern banks of the Burrard Inlet to revel in the moonshine and make merry to the lapping sounds of the sea. They were met with dancing, applause and laughter; more and more as the night's excitement gave birth to the wee hours... and 21 police officers in charge of keeping the peace. This thirsty band of gypsies and musicians quickly dispersed and regrouped at a nearby hidden Moonshine bar. Adorned in colourful cloths, sparkling jewelry, and hard-lived care worn musical instruments, we were instant hits before being chased out of the bar for imbibing one too many of the host's delicious apple wine. Most fingers point to Scraggly Dan, who stubbornly refuses to remember (or admit) the exact details.
